Between the art of ham-producing and the art of painting
In the same year it was established, back in 1976, our firm entwined itself with art, by chance or by destiny: the firm’s logo that has identified us from the very start of our business was created by a famous artist from San Daniele: NINO GORTAN.
Some years ago a young and at that time still relatively unknown painter (Roberto Bertazzon) painted a picture (now in our possession) representing some stages of ham processing, seen from the point of view of an artist.


The year 2001, besides being the first year of new millennium, is also the 25th anniversary of the foundation of our firm. To celebrate this event we thought about something different, something that might involve our clients, whom we consider friends of ours.

Hence was born the idea of making, with the help of ROBERTO BERTAZZON, a young but well-known painter from Conegliano Veneto, an artistic dish to be reproduced in a limited and numbered edition, changing every year the subject painted on the dish so as to create a small collection.


On occasion of the 25th anniversary of our firm, by creating these artistic dishes we meant to carry on this artistic tradition, as we are well aware that making good ham can certainly be considered an art in itself.

We now hope to be appreciated for our work and for our ham from the very first moment, and “too late”, as it usually happens to many artists!
