Ham on the bone is San Daniele's most typical and traditional product. It is mainly destined for specialized retailers, such as delicatessen shops, wine bars, restaurants, or to gourmets who are able to slice it by hand with a well-sharpened knife. Whole ham on the bone is generally sold in pieces weighing from 8.5 to 10.5-11 kilos according to consumption requirements.
